Czech Press Photo extends the application deadline! We would like to inform all photographers that the deadline for this year’s 31st annual of the Czech Press Photo competition has been exceptionally extended until October 10, 2025.
The reason is a major event that will significantly influence life in the Czech Republic – the parliamentary elections taking place on October 3–4, 2025.
We want photographs from the final days of the election campaign, from polling stations, and from the headquarters of individual political parties to be part of this year’s competition.
This gives you a unique opportunity to capture this important moment and submit your work to the prestigious photography competition that has been documenting visual history and key events at home and abroad for more than three decades.

An international jury of seven distinguished Czech and foreign experts will meet in Prague in November 2025.Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in January 2026 at the National Museum, with the exhibition opening in March.
