Our ambition is to become home to photographs which would otherwise be irrevocably lost to future generations, a place for designing exhibitions on particular topics. The archive will not serve merely for storing photographs, but is also open to further acquisitions; acquisitions focused on contemporary work and subject to professional selection.
The photography archive located under the whole gallery is modern and exploits cutting-edge technologies. To begin with, it is designed for Czech Press Photo contest photographs. The treasury of photographs which has been collected over the two decades of the contest deserves to be professionally looked after.
