The author began taking photographs in 2003 when he starting seeking out his path in photography. In 2007, he visited the Transcaucasian country of Armenia, which enchanted him so much that his further travels also led to these places, and it also gave him a focus for his future photography. He began by focusing on capturing the human form and social journalism. Over a period of three years, he visited the Karabakh Hospital numerous times, and many of his photographs were taken there. These photos are so emotionally powerful that they have led panels in international photography contests and salons to award them very high points. Thanks to these and other photographs from these locations, he has received the international AFIAP and EFIAP Distinctions from the International Federation of Photographic Art.

He fell completely in love with Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, and visits them every year. He finds serenity, peace and humility here. “Piece of Armenian Soul” is an exhibition which captures a small part of what he experiences on his travels. During his recent visit to Armenia, he was eye-witness to the Velvet Revolution in which the opposition was victorious. The leader of the anti-government protests, Nikol Pashinyan, became Prime Minister.
